This upcoming school year I plan to participate in an educational cultural exchange program to Brazil.  The program is run by AFS-USA, the world's oldest highschool exchange organization.  I will be leaving from Miani in early August and will be abroad for a school year. I'm very interested in learning more about samba and the Brazilian culture.  I also hope to get a little better at soccer.

I'm currently a sophmore at Lomira High School where I play soccer and am interested in Foreign languages.  Soon I will be applying to college and I know that having a broader view of the world and knowing another language will be good prepearation for my education after highschool.

In order to make this oppurtunity possible I've gotten a job and also sold my car.  My friends are helping by giving me rides when needed and my family is doing as much as they can.  My mom has also gotten a part time job next to her full time job.  However the fee is $10,000 and it is quite a large sum of money.  We are having trouble aquiring through all our efforts.  I have to raise the rest of the program fees and my plane fare to the gateway city by May of 2007.  I am now asking for you sponshorship and support to help me make this trip a reality.  Any donation of any amount will be very much appreciated.  Thank you for your time and consideration.  Soon I will get links for donations.  Thank you once again.
